Elizabeth, all these ideas are good. In my experience as a widower, I've realized the singles, widows, and widowers become "shadow" persons as sub-communities within the body of believers. This especially occurs for widowers who are no longer in the active workforce. I also read an article a single 50+ woman wrote where she discussed that at her new age she had, in small ways, become invisible to those around her. I think expanding your writings to include men who are Elders and Deacons could be helpful, but may need to be delivered gently with a 2x4🤔
